A sweet, citrusy Valentine’s Lemon Drop with a fruity twist. Fresh strawberries are mashed at the bottom of the glass, then topped with ice and a bright mix of vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, and grenadine. It’s refreshing, vibrant, and perfect for a fun, romantic drink.

A Romantic Twist on a Classic

This isn’t your standard lemon drop. The muddled strawberries add natural sweetness and a soft berry flavor that complements the bright lemon perfectly. It gives the cocktail a Valentine’s feel while still keeping that signature citrus kick.

Perfectly Balanced Flavor

The combination of vodka, triple sec, fresh lemon juice, and grenadine creates a smooth balance of tart and sweet. The sugared rim enhances every sip, making the acidity feel intentional and well-rounded rather than sharp.

Beautiful & Effortless

With the vibrant red hue, fresh strawberry garnish, and sparkling sugar rim, this drink looks as good as it tastes. It feels elevated and thoughtful, yet it’s simple enough to make in minutes for a cozy date night at home.

Rim the Glass

Run a lemon wedge around the rim of your glasses, then dip them into sugar to coat evenly. Set aside in the freezer to chill while making the drink.

Mix the Drink

In a shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, triple sec, fresh lemon juice, and grenadine. Shake well until chilled.

Muddle the Strawberries

Remove glasses from the freezer. Add strawberries to the bottom of the glasses and mash well until juicy and broken down.

Fill with Ice

Add ice directly on top of the mashed strawberries.

Assemble & Garnish

Pour the cocktail over the ice and muddled strawberries. Garnish with a fresh strawberry and serve immediately.

This Valentine’s Lemon Drop is the ultimate Galentine’s Day drink because it’s bold, bright, a little extra — and so are we. The fresh mashed strawberries at the bottom give it that flirty pink-red color that just screams girls’ night, while the sugared rim makes every sip feel fun and celebratory. It’s sweet but still has that tart lemon kick, which honestly feels symbolic — soft but strong.

It’s the kind of cocktail you make while everyone’s in the kitchen laughing, taking pictures, and hyping each other up. It looks stunning in a glass, tastes even better, and feels intentional without being complicated. Whether you’re hosting brunch, doing a rom-com marathon, or just catching up on life, this drink sets the vibe. Cute, confident, and just a little dramatic — exactly how Galentine’s should be.
